About Mrs. Smith

Hello! My name is Mrs. Smith and I am so excited to continue my 20th year of teaching at Brandywine Heights Elementary! 

I attended Marywood University and earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education K-6. I earned my master’s degree from Wilkes University in Literacy.  I taught 2nd grade (10 years) and kindergarten (4 years) in the Allentown School District before teaching at Brandywine Heights Elementary School. The last 4 years I taught kindergarten. I am excited for year 2 in a grade that is near and dear to my heart, 2nd grade!

I am married to my husband, Josh, for 16 years.. We have three children. Lucas is 15 and in 10th grade. Dominic is 12 and in 7th grade. Gianna is 7 and is in 2nd grade.  My two boys love playing baseball (it's a year round sport in our house), and my daughter enjoys to dance and play soccer. We just got a Shih Poo puppy over the summer. Her name is Reese.

I am excited for an AMAZING year together in 2nd Grade!
