All students need hands-on experiences to connect the curriculum to the world.  Field trips can reinforce those concepts they are learning in their classes.  Freshmen go to the lower East side of NYC (Social Studies), Sophomores to the Bronx Zoo (Biology), Juniors to the Philadelphia Art museum (World Cultures) & Seniors to Washington DC (government)
