Mrs. Gardner

Welcome to ESL!

The ESL (English as a Second Language) program is established to provide students with the vocabulary and grammatical structures needed for both school performance and everyday living. Our goal is to help students develop language skills necessary to be successful students and members of society. We will work to expand academic vocabulary and develop confidence in speaking/listening/reading/writing. Students will develop fluency in the use of their English language usage.

About me

My name is Mrs. Gardner, and I am the ESL teacher here at Brandywine Heights Area School District.  Before coming to Brandywine, I taught at the Reading School District for 10 years.  When I am not teaching, I am spending time at home with my family!  I have 2 sons, Nolan and Nixon.  Both keep me super busy.  We also have a little farm filled with lots of fun animals!  Our favorites are our 5 goats; Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Shania Twain, Boone, and Crocket.  It is so much fun to watch them climb and play all over the back yard!  I look forward to a great year helping all my students learn and grow in their language development!
