Mrs. Fluharty

HI! Welcome to First Grade! My name is Mrs. Fluharty. I will be your child’s teacher in this exciting new adventure called “First Grade”! First grade is a year full of changes for students and parents. It will be wonderful!

I have been teaching for 28 years at Brandywine Heights Area School District. My first year of teaching, I taught kindergarten. I think first grade is exciting because students become good readers! Reading is the key for life!

I live with my husband, daughter, and son. I love to travel! The beach is one of my favorite places. But one day I hope to visit Italy. I love going to theme park and amusement parks with my family! We love to ride the roller coasters!
