Class overview
We will work together as a class and reinforce daily lessons together. You will move through three different rotations:
Whole Group/Small Group-You will work with the teacher to learn new vocabulary, skills, and strategies to help you become a better reader.
Computer Software-You will work independently on the computer . You will move through six zones to practice spelling, writing, vocabulary, and comprehension.
Independent Reading-You will independently read books to apply the vocabulary and comprehensions skills.
About me
Hello! I am Mrs. Takach and I am the learning support teacher for 4th grade at Brandywine Heights Intermediate School. This is my eighth year at Branywine Heights Intermediate School. I graduated from Temple University in 1996 with a dual degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I received my Master's of Education with a concentration in Reading in 2003 from East Stroudsburg University. I was a learning support teacher in the Stroudsburg Area School District for 5 years before leaving to start a family. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and vacationing on Long Beach Island in the summer. I am married and I have two sons, Jack who is 20 and Ross who is 16, and two step-sons, Aiden and Ryan. We also have a chocolate lab named Molly, and a cavapoo named Chloe.
