1: Basic Biological Principles/Structure and Function

2: Chemical Basis of Life/Organization of Matter

3: Cell Anatomy and Physiology

4: Bioenergetics/Energy Flow in Organisms

5: Cell Reproduction/Growth and Development of Organisms

6: Genetics/Inheritance of Traits

7: Evidence of Common Ancestry and Diversity/Natural Selection and Adaptation

8: Interdependent Relationships in an Ecosystem

9: Ecosystem Dynamics, Functioning, and Resilience

Laboratory experiments will be conducted during each of these units.
