There are some great resources out there for families. There are lessons, activities, and examples of calendars - all of the resources are user friendly and your kids will love them!
Some of the activities are technology-based, others are more traditional arts and crafts activities. Ask your principal about art supplies and materials we have put together for your home use!

Project LIT: Reading Challenge

Project Lit Library Pickup at Benton Harbor High School
Each of our families have the opportunity to pick up their very own library. In these personal libraries, there is a huge selection of books as well as instructions for the contest. The first 500 families to get their home libraries will automatically earn FREE family meals from participating restaurants. But the fun doesn't stop there.
There is a list of activities that will be passed out where you can earn EVEN MORE PRIZES. The activity ranges from watching educational videos to creating your very own story. Each student can earn up to 50 points for cool prizes. We will announce on our school website when prizes can be collected. Are you ready to take on this challenge? I hope so because it’s going to be a lot of fun! Contact your teacher to learn how to pick up your Project LIT Library set.
