A living donor is a healthy person that donates an organ when they are still alive.
Why do I need a Living Donor?
Did you know only about half of the people in the US donate their organs when they die?
That means years' long waiting lists, with thousands removed each year simply because they grew too sick to make it through a transplant.
A living donor shortens or can completely eliminate that wait! And, kidneys from living donors generally haver higher success rates and work longer!

Anyone in good health between the ages of 18 & 75 can be a living donor!
