The Potter Gray Tradition of Excellence lives…and it lives through everyone associated with Potter Gray. The tradition lives through the students who engage and share a love of learning; who bring their best every day and brighten up the room with their personality and smile. The tradition lives through the best teaching and support staff that is second to none. Our staff leads by example and provides our students with challenging and thoughtful learning experiences. The tradition lives through the parents and families who support their children and the school. As a result of this partnership, the Tradition of Excellence at Potter Gray lives and will continue to grow in a positive direction.
Over the past few years we have experienced so many wonderful things with our students and staff. We have celebrated student and teacher successes with being named a 2023 National Blue Ribbon School, Academic Team Region Champions, Jr. Beta Club, Pouncing Panthers, STLP, K-PREP ratings, and the 66th Anniversary of PGE. We experienced and celebrated record setting fundraisers such as the Color Run, American Heart Association Jump Rope for Heart, STLP Humane Society and an amazing book fair. We have added our final new large piece of playground equipment thanks to the great efforts of our PTO. Everything we have experienced together has meant more because of the unwavering spirit and tradition of the Potter Gray Community.
This will be my sixth year as the Principal of Potter Gray. I am so proud of our students, teachers, staff and the community for the hard work and dedication given to doing what is right and what is best for our students each and every day. Excellence truly is worth the Effort.
