BGJHS Media Center

Hello!

My name is Jordan Franklin, and I am the Library Media Specialist at Bowling Green Junior High School! This is a great school with a wonderful library! I love to read and can't wait to pass it on to each student at BGJHS! I feel that each day is a new adventure filled with endless possibilities, and the library is the perfect place to discover new ideas and information.

I was born in Birmingham, Alabama but raised in Bowling Green, KY. I graduated from Warren East High School and attended Western Kentucky University for both my Bachelor and Masters degrees. Prior to becoming the Library Media Specialist at BGJHS I was the Media Specialist at Henry Moss Middle and Alvaton. Before becoming a librarian, I taught Special Education at Parker Bennett Curry. I also taught EBD at Allen County Intermediate Center grades 4 through 6. I started as a 21st Century Program Coordinator at Parker Bennett Curry where I fell in love with teaching

I have been married to my husband Demont for 7 years and we have a little boy, Maize Stephen, born June 3rd, 2015. We have an Aussiedoodle named Chipper Jones.
