Preschool Eligibility Requirements

• Family must live in the city school district, or be a full time employee of the BGISD.

• Child must be 4 years old by August 1 and meet state income eligibility guidelines.

• Child is 3 or 4 years old with a diagnosed educational delay or disability regardless of income determined by an Admissions and Release Committee.

• Student with an Individualized Education Plan must reside in BGISD district or meet the guidelines outline here: Link

Requirements Due at Enrollment

1. Proof of Residency - Lease/Deed or Utility Bill in Guardians' name

2. Certified Copy of Birth Certificate

3. KY Immunization Certificate

4. KY School Physical (within the last year)

5.  KY Eye Exam (within the last year)

6.  Online registration & Enrollment Forms Completed

Tuition program

• Family must be a full time employee of the BGISD. 

• Child must be 4 years old by August 1 and not be eligible for the preschool program.
