The BYLC Alumni Award is a prestigious initiative by the BYLC Graduate Network that recognizes and celebrates the outstanding achievements and contributions of BYLC graduates across diverse fields.
The award honors individuals who have demonstrated excellence, leadership, and impact in their respective journeys, inspiring others within the community.
Awards are presented across five segments i.e Professional Excellence, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Social Impact, Excellence in Academic and Art & Culture.
Through these recognitions, BGN aims to highlight inspiring stories and encourage graduates to continue creating meaningful impact in society.
BYLC Alumni Iftar is a cherished annual gathering organized by the BYLC Graduate Network, bringing together graduates in the spirit of Ramadan. It offers a meaningful opportunity to reconnect, strengthen bonds, and celebrate the sense of community that defines BYLC.
Beyond sharing Iftar, the event creates a warm and inclusive space for networking, reflection, and togetherness, keeping the alumni connection alive across batches and years.
A flagship sporting event that unites graduates through friendly competition and teamwork. The BGN Cricket League fosters camaraderie, sportsmanship, and lasting connections among participants.
BGN Meet is a community-focused initiative by the BYLC Graduate Network that brings graduates together through both informal gatherings and structured networking sessions. These meetups create meaningful opportunities for alumni to reconnect, share experiences, and build strong personal and professional relationships.
Previously, these gatherings were organized under different names based on specific BYLC programs and communities, such as BBLT Meet (for BBLT graduates), Juniors’ Meet (for BBLTJ graduates), Chattogram Meet (for graduates from Chattogram), as well as meetups for APL and YLS participants. Over time, these diverse initiatives have evolved into BGN Meet, creating a more unified and inclusive platform for all BYLC graduates.
BGN Ride is a community cycling initiative by the BYLC Graduate Network that promotes a healthy, active, and environmentally friendly lifestyle. Focused on the use of bicycles, the event encourages graduates to come together for group rides, fostering fitness, sustainability, and a sense of unity within the BGN community.
A fast-paced and energetic tournament that brings together football enthusiasts from the BGN community. It creates an exciting platform for graduates to connect, compete, and relive their team spirit.
BGN Talks is a knowledge-sharing platform by the BYLC Graduate Network aimed at supporting graduates in their personal and professional growth. Through interactive sessions, expert insights, and peer learning, BGN Talks focuses on skill development, career guidance, and capacity building—empowering members to navigate their journeys with confidence and clarity.
The initiative has evolved from BYLC Talks, a flagship series previously organized by BGN. Under the leadership of the BGN National Board 2017, BYLC Talks featured distinguished speakers including Joel Reifman, former U.S. Consul General in Hyderabad; Petter Borre Furberg, current Chairman of Grameenphone and former CEO; Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, former CEO of Robi Axiata Ltd.; and Mikael Hemniti Winther, former Ambassador of Denmark to Bangladesh. These sessions laid the foundation for what has now grown into BGN Talks, continuing the legacy of inspiring conversations and impactful learning experiences.
Share to Care is a public service initiative by the BYLC Graduate Network that reflects the spirit of compassion and collective impact. Through this project, BGN mobilizes public funds and support to provide essential goods and assistance to people in need, especially during times of crisis.
By bringing the community together for a shared cause, Share to Care empowers graduates to contribute meaningfully and extend support where it matters most.
BGN Run is a community-driven running initiative by the BYLC Graduate Network that promotes fitness, unity, and active engagement among graduates.
Over the years, the event has been organized across multiple cities, reflecting BGN’s commitment to reaching graduates beyond Dhaka. In 2018, BGN Run took place in Dhaka, Dinajpur, Pabna, Rajshahi, and Chattogram, while in 2017, it was successfully organized in Rajshahi.
More than just a run, BGN Run brings together alumni in a spirit of health, connection, and shared purpose.
দেশ আমার, দায়িত্বও আমার was a unique initiative by the BYLC Graduate Network that combined a photography exhibition with a street cleaning campaign, reflecting a strong sense of civic responsibility among graduates.
Through powerful visual storytelling, the photography exhibition highlighted social realities and inspired awareness, while the hands-on street cleaning activity encouraged active participation in keeping public spaces clean. The initiative aimed to instill a deeper sense of ownership and responsibility toward the country, turning awareness into action.
By blending creativity with community service, this event showcased how young leaders can contribute meaningfully to building a cleaner and more conscious society.
