              Flag Football clinic

§  Who:  4th grade boys!

§  Where:  Elementary School Gym

§  What to bring:  Bring shorts or athletic clothes if you want.  Be sure to have gym shoes!  Mouth guards are recommended

§  When:  (5) Fridays from 3:00 p.m-4:30 p.m.

·        This first clinic date will be on Friday- March 4th from 3:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. in the elementary gym.

§  Pick-up is on 9th street outside the blue doors @ 4:30 (please be on time)

§  Dates:  (All Fridays March 4th, March 11th, March 25th, April 8th, April 15th)

§  What is it:  This is an introduction to flag football.  Students will be practicing football skills with coaches. (Catching, passing, defense and pulling flags from the opponent) for about 30 minutes. Students are then placed on a team and play competitive games against each other the remainder of the clinic.

§  Flag football does have some contact, however, very limited.  It has no more risk of injury than playing soccer or basketball.

§  Cost:  $10.00 and sign up form get handed into the school office!

§  Due Date:  If interested fill out with fee and return to the School Office by Tuesday –March 1st  or until the clinic is full.                                                  

§  (We can only accept the first 25 forms and fee handed in.)

§  Unfortunately, at this time- no parents or siblings are allowed in the school to watch.

§  I am looking for a few volunteers to help out.  If you are interested, please let me know.  The $10 fee is waived if you volunteer.  All coaches, volunteers and players must be masked during the clinic.
