Lesson 1 - Gsuite Overview
Objective: Students will explore google suite and practice using their features with an understanding of how they work together.
Steps for students:
1. Watch the video
2. Complete the Exit Ticket
(You should be signed into your school account to complete)Expectations
Students will utilize Google Suite apps to communicate with teachers and complete assignments.
Note for teachers: You may also host a live game on Quizizz by using the following link Quizizz Game
*Joining Google Classroom*
Go to classroom.google.com and click "join". Teachers will be sending invitations, so the classes should already appear in the classroom menu. Be sure to unenroll in your classes from last year.
Lesson 2- Onboard & Gmail
Objective: Students onboard to Google Classroom and review email.
Students will compose appropriate emails to teachers.
Expectation: Students need to check email at least once a day.
Student will compose emails with proper grammar and in complete sentences. Please include your class name and period.
Lesson 3- Accessibility
Objective: Students learn about various accessibility tools to improve quality of work and advantages of technology.
Expectation: Students will utilize accessibility tools to understand assignments and complete work as needed.
Please do not turn off all Google Classroom email messages.
Lesson 4 - Email Strategies
Objective: Students will explore google suite and practice using their features with an understanding of how they work together.
Expectations
Students will check email at least once a day.
Students will configure Google Classroom Email settings appropriately to receive messages from teachers.
