Annual Back-to-School Cookout:

We had a blast at the cook out on Wednesday, August 23. This years group of FFA members are very excited to get this year started and to get involved in the many opportunities they have before them this year. A shout out to the students that helped planned and organize the event. We had Megan Brown help with the sign-in form and the t-shirt voting online form. Karina Almazan and Jasia Roche planned a scavenger hunt for students and the winners got to pie Mr. Bullock in the face. Many students stayed and after school to help set up for the cookout by moving table and chairs, setting up the corn hole boards and rope for tug of war, and many other miscellaneous things. It was a tremendous help and we thank those students for helping out. We also were lucky to have two District 8 FFA Officers, Hallie Griffin and Levi Spurgeon, stop by our event to meet with our FFA members. All and all the cook out was a success and we are thoroughly impressed with the enthusiasm our members have for this year.
