The new senior secondary curriculum has been implemented since September 2009 by the Education Bureau. The aims of this education reform are to broaden students’ horizons, enable them to develop extensive knowledge and extend their life experiences. Under the curriculum, the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, with relevant results, can be used to apply for admission to universities or other tertiary institutions.
Senior Secondary Curriculum offered in our school:
1. Four Core Subjects: Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics and Citizenship and Social Development
2. Two Elective Subjects: Choose two in the following elective subjects
3. Other Learning Experiences: Moral and Civic Education, Community Service, Career-related Experiences, Aesthetic Development and Physical Development
4. Applied Learning Courses: Eligible students can study a course organized by the university institutions in Form 5 and 6, or study APL Chinese course (for Non-Chinese students) from Form 4
