Brian grew up in Southwest Virginia, but has called the Triangle home since 2000. After earning a BS in Accounting from Virginia Tech, Brian worked in accounting, finance and management at Virginia Tech and Georgia College before moving to Durham to work at Duke University. While working full-time at Duke, Brian earned an MBA from Duke and began pursing his Law Degree at North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2016. Brian graduated from North Carolina Central University School of Law with honors and was admitted to the Bar in 2016.

Brian has extensive experience in financial and accounting matters, as well as contract formation and business entity development. In addition to working in legal matters directly related to his experience, Brian’s other area’s of focus are family law and personal injury.

When not working or spending time with family, Brian can be found either swimming or running. He and his wife, Julie, have been running road races for the past few years and have recently expanded into Triathlons.
