PowerSchool App Update

We recently noticed that the PowerSchool App grades have not been updating for some parents although grades have been updated on our end by our faculty. This is due to parent account passwords expiring after 180 days.

If you are experiencing this issue on your end, please do the following:

1. Click on "More" in the bottom right corner.

2. Then click on "Account" and "Sign Out"

3. Once you are signed out, try to log in with your username and password.

4. At this point you should be prompted that your password has expired and that you need to create a new one.

5. Once you have created a new password, sign into the app with your username and NEW password.

6. Once you are logged in, the grades should be updated.

Please reach out to our front office at 480-558-1197 if you have any questions or need further assistance.

About Mrs. Walters

Hello, and welcome to the new school year.  I am looking forward to getting to know each one of you and delving into the amazing world of biology!

-I have always loved science.  During the summer after my 8th grade year, I took both semesters  of summer school biology at our local high school and LOVED it.  I went on to enjoy all classes but ended up with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology with a Chemistry minor.

-I grew up the daughter of an Air Force pilot, so I lived in several states but was born in Enid, Oklahoma.

-I love being a grandma; my first grand-baby Alice is 6 years old and my second, Coraline is 6 months.

-My husband Dale and I love to travel to new places, spend time at our patented silver mine in Globe, AZ.,  or head up to the cabin in the White Mountains for cool summer and snowy winter weekends.  When we are lucky, our oldest son Shane with his family, son Larkin (if he's home from the military on leave), daughter Katie with her little poochie, and son Logan, take a few vacation days and join us.

-We have cows, horses, chickens, dogs, and cats, and like to grow fruits and veggies here in Queen Creek.  We love spending time outdoors on our little Ranchito!

-I have been teaching here at Benjamin Franklin for 20 years and, prior to that, for 3 years in the Page Unified School District, as well as 1 year in Queen Creek Unified School District.
