Welcome parents and students! My name is Álvaro Serrato and I will be teaching Spanish 1 & 2. Here is my bio. I am happy and excited to meet you all; I am sure that this academic journey will be a learning experience in both directions, both for you and for me. The core values in my class are respect, responsibility and integrity.

On this site you will have access to the course syllabus, lesson plans with links to documents, class announcements, and other important information. The lesson plans will be updated by Friday for the following week.

Students, I am excited to meet you all, and I know you will make a great contribution to the classroom;  just be yourselves, and let’s have fun while learning the magic of a fascinating language: Spanish. I am aware that taking a foreign language class may sound challenging; however, if you put in the effort and work hard, you will be fine.
