4th-6th Quarterly Projects-Ms. McAlister

Poem recitations are due by November 18th. (See 4th-6th choices for the quarter above). If they are ready before that, please contact me and I will arrange to have them recite the poem when they are ready.  If they need more time, please let me know as well.

Book Reports for quarter 2 are due December 9th.  The length of the book will vary depending on the students ability level.  They should choose a chapter book of their choice that they have not read before that they can read independently or with little assistance.  Students may choose a fiction or non fiction book.  Book report forms for each type are available above.  If you have a student that would prefer a more artistic version of a report, please let me know.

Reading logs for quarter 2 are due on December 9th.  They may also be turned in early once they are completed.  There is not a specific amount of pages required because it depends on the students ability level.  Plan to have your student read for 10-20 minutes most days of the week.  If extra time is needed please contact Mrs. McAlister.  Reading logs are part of their reading grade.
