Welcome to 6th grade!  This year will be filled with incredible growth and learning.  I am thrilled to be a sixth grade teacher at Benjamin Franklin Charter School, Power Campus.  Go Panthers!  This is my first year teaching at BFCS, however I've been teaching in various capacities for over 20 years.  I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a B.A. in English, and immediately went to the classroom.  My passion is teaching literature and writing.  I am hoping to excite my students in reading,  and taking a deep dive into literature this year.  Out of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, and being outdoors.  I have four kids, and am married to my sweetheart.  My husband and I moved  our family from Orange County, California in 2007, to settle in the East Valley.  We are loving our time out here!  I can't wait to meet your wonderful families, and feel blessed to work with your students.
