My name is Mrs. Jones, and I will be teaching American Sign Language. This is my 1st year teaching at BFHS! I am Deaf with bilateral cochlear implants. I have extensive experience working in High School educational settings as an ASL Interpreter. My background includes working with the Deaf, working with interpreting agencies, ASL Instructor/Mentor in the community and school programs, which has strengthened my commitment to inclusive education. In addition to my professional work, I have been honored with multiple academic, leadership and athletic awards. I am passionate about teaching ASL and excited to bring both my professional experience and personal commitment to Deaf Education into the classroom.
