Hi families!

This week in reading we will continue working on mental actions and attributes of fine literature. We are continuing reading the novel Charlotte's Web. In writing and grammar we will begin working on writing 3 paragraph essays and focusing on prepositions in grammar. In math we will begin multiplying multi-digit numbers using a variety of strategies. 

Please follow all the directions on the math test corrections page if your student qualifies for it and be sure to send it back by Wednesday. 

Book reports and poems are included on the quarterly projects tab. 

The recommended practice of multiplication facts is switching to one page a week, there are 100 questions and the recommended practice is 25 questions a day and they turn it in on Friday's. It is very important that they memorize their multiplication facts as we will be moving into higher level math concepts where knowing multiplication facts will play a large role.

 Any donations of tissues, hand sanitizer and clorox wipes would be greatly appreciated! :)

Dress code reminder shorts, skirts, and dresses cannot be higher than 2 inches above the knee and no leggings. No smart watches.
