Students received their Lesson 1 Vocabulary and copied the words and expressions from the screen.
Students practiced the new Lesson 1 Vocabulary through the modeling of new words and concepts, reading, and engagement with textbook activities and workbook exercises.
Students learned how to:
-Greet new acquaintances
- Introduce themselves
- Say goodbye

Students learned their Definite and Indefinite Articles in Spanish
Students learned how to form the Plural of nouns.
By the end of this lesson, students learned how to:
-Greet new acquaintances, introduce themselves and, say goodbye
-Name familiar objects and people using articles and the plural of nouns.

Friday, Aug. 14
Students reviewed their Lesson 1 Vocabulary , prior to taking their vocabulary and dictation quizzes.
Students took their Lesson 1 Vocabulary quiz and dictation quiz.

Ask people their name
Spell their name and other common words
State and ask people where they are from
Interview a classmate to find out basic info
Ask and answer questions about objects in the classroom
Identify a few classroom expressions in Spanish
Talk about school schedules, classes and teachers

Exit Ticket : "Hoy es martes." - Today is Tuesday.

Students recalled how to say hello and goodbye in Spanish.
Students learned how to tell their names and ask for names in Spanish.
Students recorded the 21 Spanish speaking countries.
