Welcome Parents and Students!

This website will be your first source for information for your Algebra II or Algebra II Honors Class. The second source will be your Google Classroom Page. Each student should join their assigned Google Classroom in the first week of school. If you have any trouble, please email me.

Lesson plans, nested under the headings above will be updated weekly for each class. Updates to the lesson plans will be posted on Friday before the new week begins so students can prepare for the upcoming week. The Google Classroom will show assignments daily and, if necessary, adjusted for pacing- based on each class's progress that week. In the Google Classroom, students will also be able to see daily student notes and assignments.

A little bit about me. I will start by saying I really don't like to do this part through my website, but, in making the best of our current situation, I will give it a shot. I am the youngest of 7 children and I grew up in Rhode Island. I love New England, but I do not miss the long, cold winter. My brothers and sisters, and even my parents have relocated all over the US. My husband and I moved to Arizona with our 4 children, ages 12 to 3. They keep us busy! We also have 2 dogs, a Weimaraner, Lucy and a Golden Retriever, Brady. As a family, we love to be outside, and we love adventures.

I have taught for the last 12 years. In those years, I have mostly taught mathematics (10 years), but I have also taught physical education and even life and health insurance to adults. I love teaching. Helping my students understand something brings me great joy. Math, specifically Algebra is one of my favorite things to teach because I like the process of problem solving and helping people work through the steps. I wouldn't call myself a math nerd, but I know, you might ;-) I cannot wait to meet each of you!
