Nearing Finals Already!
Hello parents and students,
We are nearing the very end of the school year! There are just a few weeks left, and it is more important than ever to make sure that you have assignments completed and everything in order for finals.
Our finals this year will be following the same schedule as our finals in the fall of 2021. Students will have 2 finals per day, Monday-Thursday, with a normal half-day on Friday. Please look for an email from the administration closer to our exams for more information.
Additionally, we are in the "testing quarter" of the year. There are standardized tests, AP exams, and normal classroom exams as well. Please make sure to stay on top of your work and test schedules. Don't head into the week like an accident!

About Me
This is my fourth year teaching and my second at Benjamin Franklin High School. My goal as a teacher is to make sure that students are prepared to be lifelong scholars, and I believe that learning to think critically and write articulately are the most important skills a student will ever pursue. I have a passion for literature and creative writing and spend most of my free time writing and reading. My classes will be challenged to defend their work and discuss the big ideas that face all of us throughout our lives. I am so excited to start this year's journey together!
