Benjamin Franklin students are expected to dress in a clean, neat, and conservative fashion reflecting pride in themselves and their school. The dress code is established to help ensure an atmosphere conducive to student learning and free from unnecessary distractions or movement restriction. Dance clothing is selected purposefully, both in practice and on stage, and should enhance the talent and artistry of each student.
It is both the parents’ and the student's responsibility to ensure compliance with the dress code. If a student is not in compliance with the dress code, parents will be notified and appropriate dance clothing will be required to participate.
A specific approved leotard will be required for each class and we ask that any other leotard purchased separately fit these standards.
