Classics Club

We examine Classical culture through modern and ancient representation in art and literature of various media.  

We look more at everyday life in ancient times than Latin or History class, which tend to focus on the "big" or "historic" people and stories.  Through the semester, we celebrate several events, including Classical Cinema Cins (where we watch a modern movie and critique its historical accuracy) and the Saturnalia Feast (where we prepare and devour historically authentic Roman foods).
