Below is a summary of technology survey results of 4-12 students and parents/guardians given in the Spring of 2022. A report with greater detail will be given later in the 2022-2023 school year. This includes 263 parent responses, and 1038 student responses.

Summary of Responses from “What could help support you and other students with digital wellness to make healthier choices online?”
Responses indicated an awareness of additional needs for limiting screen time, monitoring, for both emotional and physical wellbeing.
High number of responses of "I don't know" that may indicate that students see the issue, however do not have a clear sense of how to solve it. Conversely, several responses indicate students do not see an issue with digital wellness.
Students gave specific digital wellness suggestions regarding better behavior for themselves as well as their classmates
Students suggested more education related to social media and online use.
Students expressed needs for more access to sites like gaming websites and have less monitoring
Summary of Responses from "Are there any hardware, software, or applications that your school does NOT use that you think could help you learn better?
Several requests for apps related to specific interests such as photo editing, digital design, computer science, and gaming.
Students would like to see less sites blocked.
Many students would like access to Grammarly.
Younger students feel they have the tools that meets their needs.
There are a variety of singular responses that were related to specific sites and access to other services.
Some students would like access to different device platforms such as iPads and Macs

Summary of Responses from “What could help support students with digital wellness to make healthier choices online?”
48% of respondents who provided feedback related to Digital Wellness acknowledged more education is necessary for their child. Most common suggestions included:
Need for greater management of screen time
Provide information and supports for student's use of social media
More restrictions on YouTube
More control on content filtering
Reduce usage of devices
Parents mention they'd prefer the device stay at school
Parent Training
Parent control of content filtering or access to reports
Our “additional feedback” question included a variety of responses, many of which were related to digital wellness ideas or concerns. Other themes included:
Positive feedback for device support during COVID
More lessons needed on proper tech use of things such as email, research skills, and organizing files
Need for printing from Chromebooks
Courses suggestions such as STEM and Coding
