A collage tryptic about beauty and war at a recent gallery showing. I also made my earrings and necklace.
I began my art career as a potter and gradually branched out to include painting and collage in my practice. More recently, I have enjoyed making floral watercolor and acrylic paintings.
I use acrylics, crayons, markers and pastels in my abstract art to juxtapose colors to reveal, for example, joy, melancholy, chagrin, innocence and exhaustion, depending on the observer. The flux in my paintings mirrors the ambivalence of our times.
