GW Battle of the Books Format:

• 4th & 5th graders can participate (so can 6th grade at the Middle School)

• Students are encouraged to read ALL of the books on this year’s list. 

  • Read the book, listen to the audio book, discuss them with friends, read them AGAIN! 

• In February we will have a test over all of the books, and the top 3 scorers will be our GW Battle of the Books team (with 1 or 2 alternates chosen in case of emergency) 

• The Bettendorf Battle of the Books competition (GW vs. BMS and other Bettendorf Elementary schools) will be at the Bettendorf Public Library on Thursday, March 12 from 4:30 - 6:30
