Bethpage students in 4th and 5th grade are encouraged to join at the Elementary level. The program continues to offer 21st Century opportunities at JFK Middle School and Bethpage High School.

Each student has the opportunity to explore new experiences that help create a 21st Century learner.
Students that complete 50 points by the end of 5th grade will earn a certificate at the moving-up ceremonies as well as carrying 20 points up to JFK.
Students that complete 75 points by the end of 8th grade will earn a certificate at the moving-up ceremonies as well as carrying 20 points up to BHS.
Bethpage High School students who earn 100 points before graduation may be awarded a scholarship.
Emails with activity details will be sent to the student's school Gmail account as well as one parent email that is automatically populated by the district. Those email choices can be changed in the 21st Century database.
Students are able to sign up and keep track of their progress through the 21st Century Database. Go to www.bethpagecommunity.com and hover over Students/Parents. Please click on 21st Century Scholar program and select 21st Century Portfolio Login . Usernames and passwords will be distributed in school. In order to reserve your spot, you need to sign up through the Bethpage Public Library’s website first.
If you are unable to attend a Bethpage Public Library event, PLEASE request removal on their website as there is a long waiting list for these activities.
To receive 21st Century Credit, you must request approval on the 21st Century school database.
Points will be awarded after the district receives a list of participants from the Bethpage Public Library.
A permission slip is required to participate in 21st Century activities at the elementary level. These provide necessary information regarding how a student will be going home.
Permission slips can be found and printed out from the 21st Century database under Reference; send permission slips in after the student is approved for the activity.

Yes, please. This will help with ensuring that students go to the correct activities after school.
No, students must attend AIS or any club that they have committed to attend.
Students will receive 2 points for each school performance that takes place in the evening or on the weekends.
