Girls' Tennis

In the 2024 season, the varsity girls were led by captains Rayka Kogut and Shayna Huli and Coaches Scott George and Dylan Davis. The girls then prevailed in Subregional and Regional matches, reaching the NYS Team semifinals at the Billie Jean King Tennis Center in Flushing, NY, for the fourth consecutive year. https://www.timesunion.com/hssports/article/bethlehem-girls-tennis-set-make-another-trip-19888956.php.

The girls were defeated in the NYS Team semifinals by eventual State Champion Horace Greeley before earning a thrilling, come-from-behind victory in the 3rd-place match against an excellent Brighton team. The Bethlehem varsity girls finished the season as the #3 team in NYS with a 14-3 record.

At the JV level, Coach Tom Begley, Coach Debbi Davis, and Coach David Clay led the Bethlehem squad to an outstanding 10-1 season!

Looking Ahead to the 2025 Season...

Tryouts for JV and Varsity tennis begin Monday, August 18th. Be sure you are preparing throughout the winter and spring, and that you have assured your paperwork with the Health Office will be up-to-date when we begin. The more you prepare in the off-season the better things will go during tryouts and our season.
