Matilda Jr.

Thank you to all who auditioned this year. We had over 135 students who participated in the audition process! We know how difficult that process is, and we applaud each and every one of you. We are overwhelmed by the talent we saw this week. Unfortunately we can only take 70 cast members  ….which means that MANY talented students were not selected to be onstage this year. Please continue to work on your singing, dancing, and acting skills and definitely come back next year. Each year we are excited to see the growth that students make, and each year we excitedly welcome students to the cast who have previously auditioned and not been accepted. Please remember that each show requires different things, and this year's show is different than both Newsies and whatever we do next!

For those who weren’t selected as part of this year cast, you will have first dibs on crew assignments. Please stay tuned for when that will happen. It's a great way to be involved in the musical!

FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE ON THE CAST LIST: Our first rehearsal is Monday 10/6 from 3-4:30. If you have a conflict with fall sports, you MUST email Mrs Dashew between now and rehearsal to let her know. All others are expected to be in attendance in the auditorium Monday (tomorrow) after school.
