Students may select one or more business courses during each year of high school as an elective.

Students in grade 9 and 10 may select from the following recommended course offerings:

  • Career and Financial Management

  • Sports Marketing and Management


Students in grades 10 through 12 may choose from all Business courses.

  • Many courses are offered for college credits through the College in the High School Programs

  • Take advantage of an Work-Based Learning (WBL)/Internship to earn credit for working and establish your RESUME

COLLEGE IN THE HIGH SCHOOL

Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) or Fonda-Fulton-Montgomery Community College (FMCC)

COLLEGE ACCREDITED * Tuition fee is required for college credit * College textbooks are provided.

Students are eligible for scholarships!

  • Personal Finance/Accounting (3 college credits with HVCC)

  • Computer Concepts and Applications (3 college credits with HVCC)

  • Business Organization and Management (3 college credits with HVCC)

  • Marketing (3 college credits with HVCC)

  • Entrepreneurship (3 college credits with HVCC)

  • Business Communications (3 college credits with HVCC)

  • Quantitative Business Applications (7 college credits with HVCC)

  • Business Law (3 college credits with FMCC)

College accreditation is optional; any college-accredited course may be taken for high school credit. Tuition fee (reduced) is required, and reduced, for students wishing to earn college credit.

College course paperwork is provided by the instructor of the course.

NOTE: a certificate of residency may be needed by each student and can be obtained at the local town hall for their county. See instructor, or call the Community College, for more details.
