Here is where you will find the weekly news and updates on what we are working on in the classroom.
We had a fun first week of Kindergarten! This week we are reviewing the procedures and expectations that we covered last week. We will be completing "brain measuring" (initial assessments) that will help me plan instruction for the year.
We are testing students' knowledge of letter names and sounds. Soon we will assess basic phonics skills like rhyming and syllables.
God created the Earth and everything in it in 6 days! On the 7th day, God rested. That is why we observe the Sabboth Day on Sunday, the 7th day of the week. We are thankful for all that God has made!
We are testing number recognition and counting.
We are members of several different communities (family, classroom, school, town). Rules help everyone in our communities to stay happy and safe. We have responsibilities within our communities.
