Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of physical activity and fitness in a variety of activities (Cardiovascular endurance, Muscular strength, Muscular endurance and Flexibility).

Follows established class rules and demonstrates good sportsmanship while engaged in physical activities.

Standards Based Grading Performance Levels

4 - Student performance is consistently at or above course level expectations as evidenced by demonstration of an in-depth understanding and sophisticated application of concepts and skills.

3 - Student performance is consistently at course level expectations as evidenced by independent application of concepts and skills.

2 - Student performance is beginning to and occasionally does meet course level expectations or student requires support to meet course level expectations.

1 - Student performance is consistently below course level expectations even while receiving support.
