The BHS reads program was created to promote a lifelong love of reading throughout the Bethel High School community.

Why do we read?
Program Description:
BHS students are encouraged to enjoy their reading! Please feel free to review the suggestions by BHS English department teachers for potential titles OR select a title or titles of their own choice.
Upon returning to school, English teachers will use class time to recognize and celebrate summer reading. Students will be asked to complete a Google Form recording any titles they have read over the summer. It is not required to complete additional work while reading (unless noted in Honors/AP course assignments). However, any personal method such as note-taking, sticky notes, sketching, etc. is encouraged.
Teachers will provide instructions for a related activity at the beginning of the school year. English teachers will determine the activity description and value.
Students enrolled in Honors and AP Courses should consult this page for their assigned coursework.
