Celebrating 40 Years of Bethel Nursing
Celebrating 40 Years of Bethel Nursing
In 1979, a proposal was made to develop a B.A. in Nursing at Bethel College. The first nursing majors arrived on campus in fall 1980. In spring 1984, 46 students became the first nursing class to graduate from Bethel College. Today, Bethel University's three nursing programs serve more than 300 students on an annual basis, led by 23 full-time faculty, 11 office and lab staff, and numerous adjunct faculty, with state-of-the-art nursing skills and simulation labs at both our 3900 and Anderson Center campuses.
We are excited to celebrate the last 40 years, looking forward with anticipation to what God will continue to do in the years to come.
