1 Month to 1 Year Prior to Pre-Proposal Deadline
Before submitting the Pre-Proposal Form, you'll want to confer with your department chair and dean (or designate) about your program idea
You'll also want to meet with Associate Dean of International and Off-Campus Programs (AD) to discuss program idea, timeline, questions, responsibilities and expectations
You may also discuss a potential exploratory scouting trip with the AD (see application below)
⏰ June 1st
The Pre-Prosposal is due June 1st for programs offered during January of the following year (e.g. June 2022 for January 2024)

After Program Development Meeting and receipt of approved "Pre-Proposal" form
Quotes and final arrangements need to be shared with Associate Dean of International and Off-Campus Programs (AD)
Contracts are required when working with a provider (AD should be included in all contract negotiations)
Work on "New Programs and Program Modifications Proposal" (see below)
⏰ October 1st
If your program is new, submit this form
If your program is existing but has proposed modifications, submit this form
Conversations/work with International Studies Advisory Committee (INTSAC) and Committee for Academic Affairs (CAA) on any required course modifications/edits
As soon as proposal/course is approved
