Throughout the month of December, we read and compared different versions of the story of the Gingerbread Man.
To culminate the unit, each student decorated their own gingerbread house! Several of our stories included endings where the gingerbread man got his own gingerbread house to live in.
Students were paired with high school students who helped them create the pages of a handprint calendar. They were excited to give these calendars to their families for Christmas!
