Fourth grade is an exciting year filled with new learning. This year we will focus on fractions, decimals, and data in math. Our word study program, Sonday Essentials, reinforces prefixes, suffixes, and spelling patterns. In science, we will focus on energy transfer, plant and animal structures for survival, and the water cycle. In social studies, we study the five regions of the United States. In English language arts, our work centers around book clubs as well as informational reading and writing.
