BESD Home Page
The BESD Volunteer program is a positive way to enhance the education experience for all students within the Buckeye Elementary School District
by providing Parents, Guardians, and Community members the opportunity to be more engaged within our schools.
Volunteering does not have to be limited to a specific event or trip.
Our schools welcome individuals who have a desire to help out:
In the Classroom
Throughout the school
At sporting events
With the Parent Teacher Organization
Reading to/with students
Chaperoning class field trips
Other areas identified by the school
How to get started:
Attend A BESD Volunteer Orientation (Please bring a valid Photo ID with You)
At orientation you will fill out the fingerprint clearance application and be fingerprinted
If you already have a valid fingerprint card please bring it to Orientation. Individuals with a
valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card will not need to be fingerprinted at Orientation!
BESD will submit your application and you will receive your fingerprint clearance card in the mail (can take up to 6 weeks)
Once BESD receives verification your card has been approved you will be notified and can start to volunteer!
Once cleared by BESD your Volunteer status will be good until your fingerprint clearance card has expired,
at which time you would need to complete a renewal through the Orientation process.
