By empowering residents to qualify for free repairs and improve their living conditions, this initiative gives agency and voice to those who have been marginalized. It fosters a sense of community ownership and pride, allowing residents to actively participate in shaping the future of their neighborhoods.

I was inspired to start to help with this program to address a pressing need within my community. As a Firefighter and Police Officer I have witnessed firsthand the struggle of impoverished families living in inadequate housing conditions and felt compelled to take action. Recognizing the significance of stable housing in fostering overall well-being and opportunities, I sought to leverage grant funds to make a tangible difference. By participating in this program, I hope to provide a lifeline to those in need, offering them a chance to improve their living situations and break the cycle of poverty.

Unlocking hope, one home at a time. In a community where poverty casts a long shadow, I inspect blighted homes at no cost to the owners to help them qualify for free repairs of their homes.
