All students will have a weekly QUEST enrichment special for all. Ms. Delmonico & Ms. Ventrice will be co-teaching this course and are excited to work together again to bring this new program to life! Our Gifted & Talented program, QUEST, is now integrated into the Enrichment Special. Students in Grades 3-5 will be identified for QUEST in the fall. Details about additional programming for identified students is forthcoming. Information about the identification process can be found in the identification tab.

Trimester 1 Theme - Systems
During the first trimester students will be introduced to the idea that systems are all around us and systems keep the world in working order. The goal of trimester 1 is to inspire students to think about how things are made and how they work. Teachers will foster an understanding of systems that exist in the lives of the students - whether it be at school, at home, or in the outside natural world. A focus will be on the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills. An emphasis will also be placed on digital citizenship, safe Internet practices, and empathy for everyone.
