Below you will find instructions for you to follow related to the challenge. Please complete the assignment located on google classroom for credit.
Living in New Jersey, you must have observed what it is like driving down the road at night and a deer runs across the road. This can be extremely dangerous due to high speeds and low visibility. The state police are considering implementing self driving cars to help patrol busy roads throughout the state; however, due to the high population of deer in these areas there are many concerns about them running in front of these self driving vehicles. Since you are a programming and robotics expert in the Legendary Mr. Riess' class the state police have reached out and hired you to design, program and test your own self driving vehicle that is able to avoid the crossing deer. For this challenge, you will program your robots to look out for this potential hazard. While traveling down the road if a "driver" sees a deer less than 10cm away the vehicle will stop. If the "driver" sees a deer between 10cm and 20cm the vehicle will continue to move forward, but at a much slower rate (10% speed). Hopefully, this solution will be able to help make the roads safer for fellow NJ drivers. Good Luck!
