Join your colleagues for a day of learning and sharing! 

Educators will have the chance to fully engage in Tower Health, Reading Hospital's Surgery in Action and Career Inspirations programs, experiencing them just as students would.  

Here’s a brief overview of each program:

• Surgery in Action: This program gives students an inside look at a surgical procedure and the various medical roles involved in the operating room. A surgeon presents and narrates a pre-recorded surgery, explaining the anatomy and procedure step-by-step. The session concludes with a hands-on activity—previous experiences have included using a laparoscopic simulator and the Da Vinci surgical robot.

• Career Inspirations: In this event, students rotate through three interactive sessions, each highlighting a different healthcare career. Past sessions have included TowerDIRECT, Stop the Bleed, and Robotic Surgery. Each one combines an informative presentation with a hands-on component to deepen student understanding and engagement.
