For the first time since 2012, Berkshire Softball has earned at least a share of the CVC Valley Division title!
The Badgers secured a decisive 13–3 run-rule victory over Cardinal on May 7, finishing conference play with a 7–1 record. With one CVC result still up in the air—Wickliffe leading Cardinal 3–1 in a suspended matchup—the Badgers will either share the title with Wickliffe or claim it outright if Cardinal completes a comeback.
Berkshire’s offense ignited early. Mal Durosko kicked things off with an RBI single in the first inning. After a 1–1 tie heading into the bottom of the second, Julia Young and Kate Miller each added RBIs to give the Badgers a 3–1 lead. In the third, Olivia Masink drove in a run and later scored on a pickoff attempt to extend the lead to 5–2.
The fourth inning broke the game open. Moira Wonders hit an RBI double, Kylie Gleason drew a bases-loaded walk, Young added another RBI, and Miller walked in a run. Whitney Davis sealed the deal with a two-run double, pushing the lead to 13–2.
Cardinal managed a run in the fifth, but the Badgers held strong for the 13–3 win.
Congratulations to our softball team on this incredible accomplishment! Go Badgers!

Berkshire boys volleyball defeated Independence last night 3-1. With the win, the Badgers finished their NEOBVL conference schedule with a 7-1 record.
Berkshire is currently tied atop the standings with VASJ, who the Badgers split with during the regular season. Each team won on their home courts.
The Vikings have one game remaining with NDCL on 5/5. Should the Vikings win that match, both teams will be Co-Champions. Should the NDCL Lions play spoiler, Berkshire will win the championship outright!
Regardless of the result of that NDCL/VASJ game, Berkshire boys volleyball claims at least a piece of their first conference title in school history! Congratulations to our players, coaches, and proud alumni who got this program started on the teams first major milestone!

On April 28, 2025, Berkshire High School's softball team witnessed a historic performance as freshman pitcher Moira Wonders delivered a perfect game against Kirtland, helping the Badgers to a 10-0 victory. This remarkable feat marked the first perfect game for Berkshire since Sarah Zeleznikar did it in 2007 vs. Grand Valley.
Wonders was dominant on the mound, retiring all 15 batters she faced over five innings. She struck out 10 hitters, and the Badgers' flawless fielding complemented Wonders' pitching, ensuring that no Kirtland player reached base.
Offensively, the Badgers provided solid support. The team tallied 14 hits, with key contributions from players like Whitney Davis, Mal Durosko, and Elise Tiber, who each recorded multiple hits and multiple RBIs.
Congratulations Moira! This perfect game will be remembered as one of the most outstanding performances in the school's softball legacy.
