Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501 organization consisting of volunteers that create friendship opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Best Buddies organization is dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
The BAT has partnered with Best Buddies of Wayne State University for several years now. Together, we participate in monthly events such as bowling, putt-putt, zoo visits, dance parties, etc. Be sure to check out the pictures & video of us hanging with our Best Buddies from WSU!
