Selina Huang is a Taiwanese film composer, arranger, singer-songwriter, and pianist. Currently pursuing a double major in Film and Media Scoring and Electronic Production and Design at Berklee College of Music, she is dedicated to blending her classical roots with contemporary and electronic sounds. Selina’s passion for music extends beyond film scoring; She studied classical singing under Czech opera singer Prof. Jana Jonašová from 2018 to 2022 and was selected as a soloist to sing in Berklee a Les Arts: The Kiss, in the opera house Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia in 2023. In 2024, she held a recital in Berklee’s Berk Hall, featuring an eleven-member band, where she performed both her original songs and unique arrangements of popular covers. She also sang her original song “再一次相見 (See You Again)” which was inspired by Gufeng music at the WMSA×SOC: Around the World Concert that year. In addition to her performance work, Selina serves as the Musical Director for the Audire Soundtrack Choir, Berklee's student-run orchestra and choir, exclusively featuring student-arranged compositions. They have performed with the Audire Orchestra and the Berklee Motion Picture Orchestra. She is also the president of the World Music Scoring Association, a club that aims to create opportunities for student composers to learn how to write global music authentically and apply it to media.
